Page Layouts

Global Page Layouts

The page layout controls the look and layout of the content inside of a page. There are three page layouts preferred for the Agency Templates:

  • Left Sidebar Creates a flexible-width content area on the right and a fixed width, 200px column on the left.
  • Full Width Spans the full width of the content area.
  • Right Sidebar Creates a flexible width content area on the left, and a fixed width, 200px column on the right.

Page layouts, unlike master pages, can be changed on a page-by-page basis.

Next Design Page Layouts

Three new page layouts are now?? available on the Next Design Template:

  • Launchpad – Allows for up to four new call to action spaces with images, text blocks, and buttons. Also includes a full width content area below the CTA cards.
  • Agency Personnel – SharePoint List driven page for highlighting agency personnel. The lists populate cards with options for image placement, sorting, and text input.
  • Press Releases – SharePoint List driven page designed for Press Releases or other content that is sorted by date. Displayed inline text highlights a headline with a link to the full article which can be linked internally or externally.

These new page layouts can be created and built by all content authors. Due to bootstrap limitations, they are not available for use on the Simple or Tile Design templates.
