Pages on the site are stored in the Pages library in the Site Contents area of the SharePoint. The Pages Library is where you can go to find your pages, create new pages, or delete pages.
The page layout controls the look and layout of a page. A page layout is chosen when a page is first created, but can be updated at any time.
Any user with Author or Approver roles can edit page content. Editing pages are much like working in a Word document, with a formatting ribbon, built in styles, and placement options for images, documents, and links.
After your changes are checked in and ready to be made visible for all visitors to your site, you need to publish your changes. Depending on your role, you will have different functions during the publishing process. You will either be a submitter or an approver.
